The embassy of the Azerbaijan Republic in the Republic Uzbekistan together with Izdatelsko polygraphic joint-stock company "Sharg" in the Azerbaijan Cultural Center of a name of Geidar Aliyev at embassy of Azerbaijan in Tashkent holds on March, 4th, 2011 presentation of books of the classic of the world literature, the outstanding Azerbaijan poet of an epoch of the Middle Ages Mohammed Fizuli (the collection of lyrical verses), the National poet of Azerbaijan Sabir Rustamhanly (the novel «Gok tanry»), writer Ilgar Fahmi (the novel "Actress"), published in 2010 in the Uzbek language. Officials of Republic Uzbekistan, representatives of the embassies accredited in Tashkent, representatives of scientific and creative elite of Uzbekistan, and also active workers of the Azerbaijan diaspora and representatives of mass media are invited to action.
On action one of authors, deputy of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, a member of inter-parliamentary group of the Azerbaijan-Uzbek friendship Sabir Rustamhanly takes part.
With introductory speech action is opened by the Ambassador of the Azerbaijan Republic in Republic Uzbekistan Namig Abbasov. He specifies that the affinity of cultures, languages and traditions form a good basis for wide and mutually advantageous cooperation between our countries that promoted in many respects by strengthening of literary communications. The ambassador has in brief acquainted the guests with creativity of Azerbaijan authors, whose products have been translated into the Uzbek language.
Then the word is given to the Chairman of the council of societies of friendship of Uzbekistan with foreign countries, to the vice-president of Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, academician Saidahror Gulyamov who in the adress focuses attention to a role of literary communications in strengthening of relations between the people and the states. He especially notices that carrying out of this sort of actions will be even more pull together people, will allow to learn each other even better.
Deputy of Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan, member of inter-parliamentary group of the Azerbaijan-Uzbek friendship Sabir Rustamhanly speaks about development of the Azerbaijan-Uzbek communications at the present stage, tells about the book «Gek Tanry» published in Baku, Istanbul, Tabriz and now in Tashkent. He expresses gratitude to the author translated the works of classics of the Azerbaijan literature on the Uzbek language Usmon Kuchkor for brilliant translating of his novel, and also everybody who has made efforts for the edition of books.
The chairman of the council of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan under the international relations and a literary translation, the National writer of Uzbekistan, the winner of the State award of Uzbekistan Mohammed Ali in his speech speaks about ancient roots of the Azerbaijan-Uzbek literary communications, especially marks development of these communications in the XX-th century and during the present period when our people have achieved independence.
The professor of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University of a name Nizami, Doctor of Philology Hamidzhon Hamidi tells that creativity of the Azerbaijan poets and writers is studied at philological faculties of High Schools of Uzbekistan, including Pedagogical University, and also it is investigated by scientists and students.
The professor of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental studies, Cand.Phil.Sci. Suyuma Ganieva tells about a role and a place of the outstanding Azerbaijan poet of XVI century Mohammed Fizuli in development of all literature of the Muslim East, influence of his poetry on the Uzbek literature, on love to products of Fizuli in Uzbekistan. She marks not accident of new reprinting of lyrical verses of the poet, enjoying wide popularity people.
The senior research assistant of the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental studies, the composer of the collection of lyrical verses Mohammed Fizuli Cand.Phil.Sci. Ergash Ochilov tells about process of research of creativity of Fizuli by him, selection of his lyrical verses, preparation of scientific and literary comments for them.
The writer and the translator, the assistant to the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Darakchi" Rustam Zhabborov tells about translating by him of novel of Ilgar Fahmi "the Actress" written in a detective genre.  
The books of M.Fizuli, S.Rustamhanly, I.Fahmi's published in the Uzbek language, have been dispatched by Embassy on all higher educational institutions of Tashkent, and also transferred abreast libraries.
