The classics of Azerbaijan literature is still very popular not only in Azerbaijan but also far beyond.
Recently in Uzbekistan, in the last two issues of the journal "Jahon edebiyyaty" ("World Literature», ¹ ¹ 174 and 175) in the Uzbek language published a series of short stories "Danabash kendinin ehvalatlary" ("The events in the village Danabash"), the prominent Azerbaijani journalist, educator and writer-satirist Jalil Mammadguluzadeh (1866-1932).
The journal "Jahon edebiyyaty" published in 1997 by the Uzbek Agency for Pressand news, the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan and the Republican Center "Spirituality and Enlightenment" in the Uzbek language, published in its pages the work world of poetry and prose, literary articles, announcements about new products. The journal has repeatedly published the classics of Azerbaijan literature.
Translation of a series of short stories "Danabash kendinin ehvalatlary" performed the famous Uzbek writer and translator Usmon Kuchkar. A connoisseur of the Uzbek and Azeri literature known U. Kuchkar wide range of readers as the translatorof works of Azerbaijani writers Hussein Javid, Anar, Sabir Rustamkhanli and others.
Due to be published in the journal "Jahon edebiyyaty" a new generation of Uzbek youth have the opportunity to read the immortal story J. Mamedguluzade in their native language.
